I am really really enjoying moving to Los Feliz. It's so wonderful to walk to such cool places...bars...restaurants.....banks....liquor stores....record stores. I know people are talking a lot about this movie so I want to put my take on the whole thing out there. I didn't hate or like the movie all that much, it wasn't spectacular. It had a little style for the hipster crowd but not enough to call it witty. I do endorse that it definitely shows a type of relationship that is very common. This movie actually hurt me to watch because so many times I have been the guy in the movie who falls for a girl who says they don't believe in relationships or the labels of boyfriend/girlfriend. What do you do in that situation if they show some attraction, and then say "are you OK with that"? You're gonna give in and go with it and hope that she will change. If things don't change the girl or guy always has that out to say "It was never serious". I love Zooey Deschanel and for once I disliked a character she played on screen but only because her performance was too good and I could see or feel like she was breaking my heart. The movie could have gone very dark or very heavy on the romance side, but it stayed in the middle. I can only speak for myself but in reality we know that every girlfriend/boyfriend out there is not gonna be the "one" but it hurts more when someone ,as portrayed in this movie, tells you they are not looking for a relationship and a year down the line end up married. It makes you wonder if that person is lying to themselves or that if fate really controls ones heart. I think I've said to much.

I tried to go shopping at the local Ralph's store at 11:30pm and I walked around filling my cart with stuff like Oranges, Canned peaches, Apple Jacks, Gatorade, bread, Orange Crush, Manwich, Fritos Corn Chips, Salami, Orange Juice and when I tried to put Sparks- this drink

in my cart, the power went out and the store people made us all leave. God - are you trying to tell me that Sparks is BAD, it was on sale 1.50 per can, I was gonna save me $0.16

Another footnote: The two cans in front were slightly damaged, I think people, well drunk people, were there before me dropping the said 2 cans so basically they kinda couldn't "handle their liquor".

I was searching the internet about the band giant drag and Bill Simmons of ESPN mentioned them in this paragraph:

When did you write this? Because one of the networks did use "This Isn't It" when coming back from commercial. I was shocked and surprised. Then later that night I went to see Giant Drag at the Troubadour in LA and the singer asked if anyone heard their song on the NFL game today. She went on in her deadpan 6-year old humor voice to say "That validates it all, now we can go out and rape people and get away with anything we want cause were in with the NFL. This is that song" She played the song and at it's conclusion exclaimed "Touchdown!"
I just thought you'd like to know.

I see the stair-car a lot and the cabin on the flatbed truck. They filmed some carnival scenes 2 weeks ago in the park near motor.

I don't wanna be a smart-ass but it's in my nature. Yeah, fuck Sunset Junction that was sponsored in part by Spaceland. Their banner was on the main stage. I hung out at El Cid for my local Kiss Or Kill bands. When I did try and listen to The Walkmen, the sound was shitty and the crowd was all on their cell phones saying "Hey- Where are you?
